CESA 2 consultants have designed a process for districtwide (K-12) Social Studies curriculum review, gap analysis, vertical alignment, and development of curricular units aligned to the updated Wisconsin Social Studies Standards. Unit development centers inquiry, and incorporates multiple perspectives, Universal Design for Learning, Backwards Design principles, and implementation of ACT 30 and Civics requirements. Instructional coaching to support implementation of updated curriculum is also available as part of an effective district roll-out plan.
