Jill Gierach is a teacher with a Master’s degree in teaching children with multiple disabilities and is a certified instructional coach. Jill holds a teaching license in assistive technology, and national certification by RESNA as an assistive technology practitioner. She has advanced training in AT assessment, non-verbal reading assessment, environmental communication teaching, and Tangible Symbols communication. She was the last director of the Wisconsin Assistive Technology Initiative and, as such, the editor and contributing author of the 2009 WATI ASNAT manual. Jill established the Assistive Technology Academy and Assistive Technology Library and continues to support those services at CESA 2.
