RtI (Response to Intervention)


Response to Intervention (RtI) offers a clear, powerful framework for organizing building- and district-based services for all students. CESA 2 works closely with the Wisconsin RtI Center to help districts initiate, develop, implement and sustain effective RtI systems of support for student academic and social success.  Network services are organized in the following service plan:

Purpose Building and Framework Concepts Development
-- Utilization of the WI RtI Center “Foundation Overview” 
-- Support for completion of School-wide Implementation Review and center tools for school / district - based action planning

School / District Leadership
-- Support for developing leadership teams within districts
-- Leadership Coaching utilizing CESA 2 WI RtI trained coaches
-- Support for goal establishment and action planning customized for specific district / building needs

Infrastructure Development
-- Coaching services focusing on overall and specific WI RtI framework elements centered around High Quality Instruction, Balanced Assessments, Collaboration, PLCs, Culturally Relevant Practices and Multi-level System of Support
-- Opportunities to form cohorts for inter- and intra-district collaborative development of common WI RtI Framework specific components
-- Positive Behavioral Interventions Supports (PBIS) foundations training and support

Full Implementation
-- Professional workshops utilizing tools and components of RtI, Wisconsin school- and district-based leaders, as well as Common Core State Standards
-- Professional workshops utilizing recognized experts focused on training and development of core RtI implementation competencies
