Wisconsin Online Teachers: Are you Prepared?

Brief Description:
The three phases of this online course explore:
1) Overview of online teaching
2) Current Techniques
3) Putting it all together for effective application
This course is delivered completely online using Moodle as the course learning management system. Participants will explore online tools, resources, and videos. Topics addressed will include online learning, blended learning, virtual schools, rolling enrollment and flipped classroom techniques. Participants will create a roadmap for future use in creating an effective online course.
Course activities address the needs and interests of K-12 educators that would like to teach an online class for the age level and content area where they hold a valid Wisconsin teaching license.
