Educator Effectiveness

Welcome to Educator Effectiveness in the State of Wisconsin!

The Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness System is a performance-based evaluation system designed to support the continuous improvement of educator practice that leads to improved student learning.

Currently, there are two models of Educator Effectiveness (EE); the DPI Model and the CESA 6 Effectiveness Program (EP), which is a certified equivalency model.

The DPI Educator Effectiveness Team and the Effectiveness Program through CESA 6 are dedicated to the implementation of a Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness System that includes ensuring educators have access to quality data identifying individual areas of strength, as well as areas of needed improvement, and are supported in their ongoing professional growth.

DPI and CESA 6 partner with the 12 statewide CESAs to bring the EE and EP to districts with the CESAs. CESA 2’s purpose is to support the districts. Our website provides a convenient way to access important information about implementing Educator Effectiveness regardless of the model districts choose to use.
